Banana Ball Open Is Coming to Disney World in 2027!
Grab your glove and your dancing shoes, because Banana Ball is coming back to Walt Disney World! The Banana Ball Open takes over ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex April 15–18, 2027, and this time it’s not just a game or two. All six Banana Ball teams are heading to Disney for four days, with four of them going head-to-head in a tournament.
Bigger Than Last Year
If you remember when Banana Ball first came to Walt Disney World in 2026, that visit was two games. This one is a whole tournament, and every team in the league is making the trip:
- Savannah Bananas
- Texas Tailgaters
- Party Animals
- Firefighters
- Indianapolis Clowns
- Loco Beach Coconuts

Only four of those teams will actually compete, and the matchups and game times haven’t been announced yet. I’m already wondering which four make the cut.
Wait, What Is Banana Ball?
If you haven’t seen it yet, Banana Ball is baseball that refuses to take itself too seriously. Players dance, the crowd gets pulled into the action, and the rules are built to keep things moving. A fan catches a foul ball? That’s an out. Feel like stealing first base? Go for it.

It’s as much a show as it is a game, which is exactly why it feels so at home at Disney.
The Tricky Part: Getting Tickets
Here’s where you need to move fast. Banana Ball doesn’t do a regular ticket sale. Instead, you join the 2027 Ticket Lottery List on BananaBall.com, and entries are drawn at random. If yours gets picked, you’ll get instructions on how to buy from whatever tickets are available. Being on the list doesn’t guarantee seats, but you can’t win if you don’t enter.
The deadline is Halloween night, October 31, 2026. BananaBall.com lists 11:59 p.m. ET, but the Disney Parks Blog says 11:50 p.m. ET, so don’t cut it close. The candy can wait! One more tip: you pick one city of interest per entry, so choose Orlando if Disney is the goal.

As for price, standard tickets start at $35 and Meet-and-Greet tickets start at $100 each. That’s the same $35 starting price as last year. If you’re eyeing something a little fancier, ESPN Wide World of Sports has updates on premium hospitality.
Making It Part of Your Disney Trip
A ballgame and a park day in the same vacation? Sign me up. Just keep in mind that ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is on Disney property but it isn’t a theme park, so your Banana Ball ticket won’t get you into Magic Kingdom (and your park ticket won’t get you into the game).

My advice: get on the lottery list now, but hold off on booking hotels or dining reservations around a specific game until the schedule is out and you actually have tickets in hand.
So, are you entering? Tell me which team you’re hoping to see, and catch the quick version in my reel on Instagram. For the latest updates, keep an eye on BananaBall.com.
