Meet Shelley Caran

My name is Shelley Caran, and I started On the Go in MCO back in 2010 as a way to capture and share my adventures around Orlando.

Over the years, this blog has grown into a space where I explore everything from theme parks and resorts to local events and hidden gems in Central Florida.

My work has also taken me beyond the blog, as I have had the opportunity to work with television and radio stations across the country, sharing stories that celebrate travel, family, and fun.

When I’m not exploring, you’ll find me enjoying life as a wife, mom, and unapologetic exclamation point enthusiast!!!

Why I Started This Blog

Orlando is more than just the “theme park capital of the world” — it’s a city full of culture, creativity, and experiences waiting to be discovered. I wanted a place to share not only the magic of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, but also the concerts, festivals, restaurants, and family-friendly adventures that make Central Florida such a special place to live and visit.
