This week my On the Go in the Parks Picks are all Eat to the Beat concerts that you will NOT want to miss!!!!

1. Mmmbop your way over to the American Gardens Theatre on October 20th to see Hanson’s last evening of performances at EPCOT.

2. You won’t need to win a riff off to see Hoobastank at Epcot on October 24th & 25th! (Please note that a microphone will NOT be a prize for attending)

3. And finally, you’ll be an All Star when you see Smash Mouth perform on October 26th!

Walt Disney World Resort

Ongoing Events Throughout the Week

• EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival: This festival runs daily until November 22, 2025. You can experience over 35 Global Marketplaces offering diverse food and drink, participate in Remy’s Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt, and more.
• Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: This is a separately ticketed event on select nights at the Magic Kingdom. It includes exclusive parades, fireworks, character meet-and-greets, and trick-or-treating.
• Early Theme Park Entry: Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can enter all four theme parks 30 minutes before the official park opening every day.
• Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life: This show is a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Imagineering and plays on select nights at Disney Springs.

• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: Closed for an extended refurbishment and is expected to reopen in 2026.
• Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: Closed for an extended refurbishment and is expected to reopen in 2026.
• The Walt Disney World Railroad: The Frontierland station is closed, so the train is operating on a modified route as a shuttle between Main Street and Fantasyland stations.

EPCOT

• Spaceship Earth: Closed for a refurbishment, and is expected to reopen on October 25, 2025.

Water Parks & Mini Golf 

• Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park: Closed for its annual refurbishment
• Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf (Fairways Course): Closed for refurbishment until October 24, 2025.

Ongoing Events Throughout the Week

• Halloween Horror Nights: This is the main event of the fall season at Universal Orlando. It is a separately ticketed nighttime event at Universal Studios Florida on select nights, featuring haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, and themed food and drinks.
• Volcano Bay Nights: This is a separately ticketed nighttime event at Universal’s Volcano Bay water park on select Friday nights. It offers after-hours access to the park with a DJ, games, and unique entertainment.
• Early Park Admission: Guests staying at Universal Orlando Resort hotels get Early Park Admission to select parks every day. The park that offers Early Park Admission and the specific time can vary, so it’s always best to check the official Universal Orlando app for the most current information.

Ongoing events at the resort include:

• Brick or Treat: This family-friendly Halloween event is all bricks and no tricks with overflowing cauldrons of candy, exclusive seasonal LEGO characters, themed seasonal treats, and fun surprises throughout the Park. PLUS, don’t miss the return of the award-winning Monster Skytacular drone show! Brick or Treat is included with theme park admission and happens on select days until November 2, 2025.
• SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium: Located at the resort, this aquarium is included with a park ticket and features various marine life exhibits.
