Stay and Scream Halloween Horror Nights 2025

If you are going to Stay and Scream at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, save this post, because I’m sharing five things you HAVE to know before you go!

Stay and Scream Wristbands

If you plan to participate in Halloween Horror Nights Stay and Scream, get a wristband to prevent being removed from the park with day guests.

There are three wristband distribution locations throughout Universal Studios Florida, BUT they do not open at the same time.

Here is a list of all the wristband distribution sites and what time they will open:

Lombardi’s Seafood Grill begins at 2:00 pm
Minion Cafe begins at 3:00 pm
Minion Blast begins at 3:00 pm

Be familiar with the Halloween Horror Nights map

Because of the construction around the front of the park, the Haunted House entrance locations differ from what attendees have experienced at previous Halloween Horror Nights.

To ensure that you don’t get twisted, here is a quick low-down of where you can find the house entrances:

WWE: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks – Near Despicable Me
Fallout – Near Fear Factory
Five Nights at Freddy’s – Near Despicable Me
Terrifier – Near Despicable Me
Gálkin: Monsters of the North – Near Fear Factory
Hatchet & Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters – Near Fear Factory
El Artista: A Spanish Haunt – Near Music Plaza Sage
Grave of Flesh – Near Music Plaza Sage
Dolls: Let’s Play Dead – Near Simpsons
Jason Universe – Fast & Furious Entrance

Don’t be late!

Stay and Scream this year is serious business, and you will want to snag your place in place for you wait EARLY!

Stay and Scream house queues will typically open around 4:00 pm. However, because there is no “official” start time, the lines could open early, and guests have seen the lines for more popular houses, Five Nights at Freddy’s and Terrifier, open as early as 3:30 pm.

Haunted house opening times are staggered

This year it is incredibly important to know that NOT ALL HAUNTED HOUSES WILL OPEN AT THE SAME TIME! (Sorry for screaming, but this one is a biggie!!!)

Here is a list of opening times for each haunted house during Stay and Scream:

Fallout – Near Fear Factory @ 5:15 pm
Five Nights at Freddy’s – Near Despicable Me @ 5:15 pm
Terrifier – Near Despicable Me @ 5:30 pm
Gálkin: Monsters of the North – Near Fear Factory @ 5:45 pm
Hatchet & Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters – Near Fear Factory @ 5:45 pm
El Artista: A Spanish Haunt – Near Music Plaza Sage @ 6:00 pm
Grave of Flesh – Near Music Plaza Sage @ 6:00 pm
Dolls: Let’s Play Dead – Near Simpsons @ 6:00 pm
Jason Universe – Fast & Furious Entrance @ 6:00 pm

Don’t get too comfortable with “official” times

While Halloween Horror Nights “officially” opens to all guests at 6:30 pm, the event will open earlier on occasion if they can confirm that all day guests have been cleared from the park. With this in mind, make sure you choose your Stay and Scream time wisely!
