Orlando Science Center Veterans Day 2026: Free Admission for Military Through November 15

Orlando Science Center is honoring veterans and active-duty service members with free admission from November 2–15, 2026, while their families can visit at 50% off. The museum will also hold its annual Veterans Day wreath ceremony at the Red Tails Monument in Loch Haven Park on November 11.
The Orlando Science Center Veterans Day offer is supported by Lockheed Martin and covers the museum’s exhibits, films and live programs. Here’s what’s included and what’s on during the two-week window.
Orlando Science Center Veterans Day Admission Offer

Veterans and active military who show a valid military ID receive free admission, and their family members get 50% off. Admission includes all four floors of exhibits, films and live programming.
- Free admission: veterans and active military with a valid military ID
- 50% off admission: family members of veterans and active military
- 10% off memberships: available to veterans and active military year-round
Both the admission and membership discounts are available only in person at Orlando Science Center, not online. The museum is closed on Wednesdays, so it won’t be open on Veterans Day itself, but the offer can be used any other open day through November 15.
Veterans Day Wreath Ceremony at the Red Tails Monument
On Wednesday, November 11, at 11 a.m., Orlando Science Center will host its annual wreath ceremony at the Red Tails Monument in Loch Haven Park. Presented in partnership with Vision of Flight, the tribute honors veterans and those who serve. The program includes a color guard presentation and a bugler playing Taps in memory of fallen service members.

What to See at Orlando Science Center in November
Visitors using the offer will find several seasonal programs and newer exhibits across the museum:
- Astronomy Month: a month of space-themed programming, from Creative Constellations Storytime in KidsTown to Space Flight in the Flight Lab, covering planets, stars and galaxies.
- Open Flight in the Flight Lab: on weekends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., guests can climb into a cockpit and try a pilot’s job in this simulation space powered by Lockheed Martin.
- The Dome by Dr. Phillips Charities: full-dome presentations, giant-screen films and live planetarium shows. No two planetarium shows are the same, as a live presenter guides guests through the skies above Orlando and out to the edge of the universe.
- Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits: this newer exhibit, presented by Nemours Children’s Health, explores the science and psychology of adventure sports across five zones with virtual flight, rock walls (including kid-sized walls) and an off-road bike path.
- Life: presented by Dr. Sarah Layton, this exhibit introduces sloths, songbirds, squirrels and a snapping turtle while explaining how conservation affects ecosystems from the ocean floor to the rainforest canopy.
- Elegy for the Unseen: The Art of Extinct Species: a new art exhibition in Fusion: A STEAM Gallery on Level 3 featuring vanished species, from prehistoric giants to lesser-known lifeforms.
Flight Lab and planetarium times can change, so check the day’s schedule before visiting. For hours and the latest details, visit Orlando Science Center’s official website.
